I lived in China until late February. Every week they’d say somethign along the lines of: ‘next week we’re going back to work.’ Then it was in two weeks. And finally I gave up and came back to Europe. China is a country that has recent experience with similar outbreaks. You can’t say that for England, Italy or the US.

We don’t know the extent of COVID-19 and how long will it last. That is painfully true.

The future get’s even more grim when you take historical data into consideration and compare today crisis to Spanish flu. Influenza came in waves, and lasted for 2–3 years.

And painfully, that might be our reality as well. We’d also have to deal with the economy and the possible new world order.
